Vans Warped Tour Coming To Atlantic City

Last year, fans said goodbye to the Vans Warped Tour, but according to ew.com, the founder of the tour, Kevin Lyman, has decided to do 3 events this year to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Good news -- the only east coast event will take place right here in New Jersey.

The Vans Warped Tour announced on its Facebook page that the NJ shows will happen June 29 and 30 on the beach in Atlantic City.

Presale tickets will go on sale on Feb. 25.  The official on sale will happen on March 1 (the same day that the lineup is announced).  The other cities hosting events are Cleveland, OH and Mountain View, CA.

According to wkipedia, the Warped Tour was the longest running traveling music festival in North America.  The list of bands that have appeared on the tour is a who's who of pop alternative music and includes Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Weezer, Thirty Seconds To Mars and many more.
