Ventnor Man Arrested for Criminal Sexual Contact

A man from Ventnor has been arrested for criminal sexual contact following an event that happened last spring in Mays Landing.

Back on March 28th, Hamilton Township police responded to a department store in Mays Landing for the report of an individual who had committed a lewd act that alarmed a nearby customer. The ensuing investigation concluded with an arrest warrant being issued for 25-year-old Ali Khawaja of Ventnor for criminal sexual contact.

Khawaja was arrested earlier today and is being held on $5,000 full cash bail.
