WPG Talk Radio 1450 is proud to support VetRock 2013, an outdoor festival of music, food, arts and craft, and a celebration of those who have served in the United States military, Saturday at Bader Field!

Gates open at Bader Field in Atlantic City 10AM Saturday with a goal to raise funds for the purposes of assisting all of our local veterans and in honor of our Vietnam veterans, living and past.

Lt. Colonel Oliver North, USMC, retired, will be the keynote speaker. Colonel North will be addressing the attendees and will also be available for photos and book signings. In addition to Colonel North, there's numerous bands to entertain the crowd all day long, including Mark Farner (former lead vocalist from Grand Funk Railroad) and band, Mytch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels, The Soul Survivors, The Buckinghams, The Trammps, Seven Stone, Gypsy Asylum, The Bob Sterling Band, and the Jeremiah Hunter Band, all hosted by New Jersey’s own Joe Piscopo. Come out and enjoy a 200 vehicle classic car show courtesy of Nostalgia Knights.

Listen for an expanded edition of Veterans Matter from 10AM to 1PM, then listen for a special live, expanded edition of Ed Hurst's Steel Pier Radio Show from 3 to 5 -- only on WPG Talk Radio 1450!  And if you are going to VetRock 2013, be sure to download the free radioPup app for your smart phone so you can listen to the live broadcasts at the festival!
