Vineland Man Found Shot Dead Following Car Crash

Police in Bridgeton say a Vineland man was found dead inside a car that crashed into trees on Spruce Street Sunday Morning.

According to police, officers responded to the report of an accident at about 8:30 in the morning. Upon arrival, they found a 53-year old man who had been shot.

Police say they are looking for a second person who witnesses reported seeing flee the accident scene.

The identity of the deceased has not been released. Police are still investigating.
