School administrators now have the task of dealing with yet another student death.“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” said Dr. Mary Gruccio, Superintendent of Schools in a post on the Vineland Public Schools Facebook page and the school's official website. “The loss of any student is heartbreaking. But two, in this short period of time, is unthinkable.”

VHS North Principal Mario Olsen called Lowery part of the Vineland school family. “Right now we are thinking of his family, and how we can help them through this incredibly difficult time. But it takes a little piece of our hearts each time when something like this happens,"

Counselors will visit each classroom today to let them know about Lowery's death and to make students and staff aware of their services. Letters will also go home to parents.

Lowrey's mother Nicole Redfern tells NBC 10 that her son aspired to be a professional athlete.
