GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP — A woman trying to retrieve money she dropped in a parking lot was run over by a man trying to take the money on Friday afternoon according to Gloucester Township Police.

Police said the 20-year-old Sicklerville woman went back outside after she was told by another customer she dropped some money in the parking lot of the Chik-Fil-A restaurant on Berlin-Cross Keys Road. A man in a gold mini-van waiting in the drive-thru had already exited his vehicle to pick up the money, police said.

The woman started talking to the man, who police say quickly got back in the van, dragged the woman and eventually ran her over before leaving the parking lot.

Police say the gold minivan may be a Toyota Siena or similar model.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s or late teens, wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts, with short, brown hair.

The identity of the woman was not disclosed by police.
