A Mays Landing woman caught on video driving a car between other vehicles at Tropicana in Atlantic City — squeezing between and smashing into the cars as she goes  — has been charged by Atlantic City Police with drunk and reckless driving.

Police said Joanna Kostas, 39, got into an empty car that was lined up in the valet lane waiting to be parked with the keys in the ignition and tried to leave the area early on New Year's Day Video of the incident posted by another driver shows her trying to driving between two lanes of cars and getting stuck.

She then tried to back up and re-position the car but only managed to hit other cars. Police said Kostas struck at least four other unoccupied vehicles and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Kostas was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Kostas was additionally criminally charged with unlawfully taking a car.
