If you're heading for Philadelphia from New Jersey (or vice versa) on Monday, you'll want to consider another crossing as members of the group Occupy DNC plan a protest march across the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Bernie Sanders supporters plan a march across the Ben Franklin Bridge on the first day of the Democratic National Convention being held in Philadelphia. Details about the march were not readily available on the Occupy DNC website about the event.

Camden County spokesman Ron Tomasello said that the group did have permission to gather on Monday at Camden City Hall to start the march.

"They notified Camden City Police late last week that they would be using City Hall as their gathering place," said Tomasello, noting that the plaza is public property. "Police response was what they would do in any situation to keep everyone safe, everyone happy and moving along."

Tomasello estimated the crowd at about 50 as of 11:30 a.m.

However, it's not clear if permits were applied for from the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), for the march itself. DRPA spokesman Mike Williams has not yet returned calls and messages about the march.
