It's frightening to think about any 14-year-old boys making any big decisions, let alone one with a gun in his hand.

Atlantic City Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for shooting a 15-year-old.

The arrest took place Friday, following the shooting on Magellan Avenue late Wednesday night. The 15 year old, according to police, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Because of his age, the boy arrested has not been identified. He was charges with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a controlled dangerous substance [marijuana], and three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.

He was taken to Harborfields Detention Center.
