Two friends have been charged with the death of a missing Buena Vista man whose body was discovered in a gravel pit on Saturday by his family.

Police have charged 26-year-old Randy McDowell and 21-year-old Kyle Kinsey with desecration of human remains and obstruction of justice in the death of 23-year-old Andrew Taylor, who is also known as Abdul Raheem. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office over the weekend confirmed it was Taylor's body that was found in a gravel pit off Pancoast Mill Road in Buena Vista by family members who had organized a search on Saturday.

A cause of death and motive was not identified by the Prosecutor's Office pending autopsy results. However, WMGM TV reports the three may have been doing drugs which led to a fatal medical episode.

Taylor had been missing since last weekend. He was found "Face down..in a muddy puddle of water, blood everywhere. Blood was everywhere," the victim's aunt, Deanna Mobley, told WCAU TV.

Taylor was last seen a week ago leaving home with two friends. He was reported missing when he did not show up for his job at Kirkland's Home Furnishings in Mays Landing on Wednesday according to WCAU TV.
