A Doggie Dash Is Happening In Wildwood

If you like running with your pup, there's an event scheduled in Wildwood that may be right up your alley.

On Sunday, Sept. 8, Morey's Piers will be hosting a Doggie Dash where owners and dogs can either take part in a fun, relaxed 5K or a 1 mile run/walk on the beach in Wildwood.

The cost for an owner and dog is $39.99 and includes a medal for your pup, an official Doggie Dash leash, a Doggie Dash t-shirt, admission to a Finisher's Celebration on the beach, and admission to a Puppy Pool Party at Raging Waters Water Park.  There are also "runners only" and "spectator" packages available.  Click here for info.

Morey's Piers says that $5 from each registration will be donated to Team Foster, "a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to pair service dogs with Tri-state area veterans suffering from combat-related disabilities including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury."
