The man who attempted to set fire to the Galloway Township Police Department building on December 12th has been arrested.

Sean Shearer allegedly lit and threw a glass bottle containing a petroleum-based liquid and threw it onto the concrete in front of the Galloway Township Police Department lobby doors and fled, reports NJ.com.

The bottle reportedly shattered, sending the accelerant splashing all over the doors, floor mats and lobby entrance, but did not catch fire. Luckily, no one was injured, according to authorities.

Shearer has officially been charged with aggravated attempted arson and criminal mischief, 6abc.com reports. Check back for updates on this story.
