Atlantic City Blackjacks AFL Team Chooses Dancers

The Atlantic City Blackjacks are moving closer to kicking off their inaugural indoor football season at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.

They moved a lot Friday evening as the team held the final tryouts for their dance team - newly named, "The Diamonds."

From an original application of more that 40 dancers, the final 23 tried out in front of a panel of celebrity judges (and dance leaders) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

The dance team is coached/choreographed by Nicole Stevens. George Manias, the CEO of the Blackjacks said that the dancers would be an integral part of the community, making year-round appearances on behalf of the team.

After the tryout, it was announced that 17 women made the dance team.
