The Atlantic City Police Department has confirmed that in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, November 24, 2022 … an altercation at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City has resulted in four men being charged in the stabbing of three persons.

At 1:31 a.m., Atlantic City police officers were dispatched to the Harrah’s Resort and Casino because of a fight at The Pool at Harrah’s.

Upon, arrival, the ACPD saw an altercation in the valet area.

“An investigation conducted by Detectives Valmir Loga, Patrick Yarrow, and James Andros IV of the Atlantic City Police Department's Criminal Investigations Section led to the identification of the suspects. Wanted warrants have been authorized and issued for the arrest of the following individuals who remain fugitives at this time,” according to the ACPD press release.

The first person we will mention, who has been charged with multiple criminal offenses appears to have a direct connection to Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.

Three members of the Atlantic City Council have confirmed that Kamal Allen, 34, of Bridgeton, is a member of Small’s anti-violence department.

That makes these criminal charges against Allen beyond ironic.

WANTED: Kamal Allen, 34, of Bridgeton, NJ.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault (2 counts), possession of a weapon (2 counts), and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (2 counts).

WANTED: Dante Braxton, 24, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawtul purpose.

NOTE: See below. Jamile Rivera’s status has been changed by the Atlantic City Police Department.

Formerly, the ACPD had said that:

WANTED: Jamile Rivera, 29, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Additionally, Akbar Pearson, 33, of Camden, NJ, who is one of the stabbing victims has been charged with aggravated assault.

The ACPD issued a summons  to Pearson, who will face a future court date.

The Atlantic City Police have issued an alert.

they have changed the status of Jamile Rivera. He is no longer wanted and he is no longer considered to be a suspect or fugitive.

This change of status was “upon further investigation” by Atlantic City Police.

Rivera had originally been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
