Officials in Atlantic County say complications of COVID-19 have claimed the lives of three more elderly residents.

The three latest deaths to be reported are a 98-year-old woman from Hammonton, a 93-year-old Pleasantville woman, and an 82-year-old man from Linwood man.

Additionally, the county reported 17 new positive COVID-19 cases between nine men (ages 21 to 80) and eight women (ages 24 to 64).

As of today, 2,970 county residents have tested positive with 1,505 having been cleared as recovered. COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 208 people across Atlantic County.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, July 7th, at the public works complex on Route 9 in Northfield. For a complete list of qualifications and to make an appointment, visit the county's website.
