Hey there! My name is Mark Anthony, like the singer, just very less talented and a bit taller. I am 22 years old and currently a student at Kean University studying Journalism and Political Science. I have been listening to 92.7 WOBM since I was 8 or 9. I faintly remember passing the Shawn & Sue billboard driving into Lacey when I was a kid, and running around the house with my brother singing the jingles (embarrassing right?). The station was a huge part of my life - and still is. At 15, I sent an message on Facebook, explaining my love for the station and the desire to be on the radio someday. I didn’t expect to hear back. But I did, only a few hours later by Justin Louis, afternoon drive on 92.7 WOBM. After a tour and interview, I was offered the position of summer intern running the Lakewood Blueclaws on WOBM-AM (now Beach Radio AM 1160 & 1310). That summer, I learned as much as I could and was as annoying to absorb everything I possibly could. I grew fast and soon started doing on air work and started doing overnights, which I still do today. Today, you can hear me on 92.7 WOBM on Saturday, 11am to 4pm, and Sunday, 3 to 7. You can also hear me on 94.3 The Point on Saturday, 4pm to 8pm, and Sunday 9pm to 12am. You will also occasionally hear me anchor the news on 92.7 WOBM and Beach Radio AM 1160 & 1310. In addition to my on air work, I am the Executive Producer for multiple programs including Preferred Company and Topic “A” with Jeremy Grunin. “If you work really hard, and you are kind, amazing things can happen.” - Conan O’brien
