An enhanced safety protocol will be in effect with live cash games on seven-handed tables, all protected with polycarbonate barriers. Masks will be required in all public areas, and spectators will not be permitted in The Poker Room.

"We are happy to welcome back our loyal players as we reopen Atlantic City's market-leading East Coast poker destination," said Melonie Johnson, Borgata's chief operating officer.

Beverage service will be available but no food will be permitted. Hand sanitizing stations have been set up and there will be frequent disinfecting of high-touch places.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, Borgata brought in nearly $18 million in poker revenue in 2019, making them the market leader in Atlantic City poker profits.
