An Egg Harbor Township team member is a beneficiary of one of the hundreds of college scholarships awarded to team members of the restaurant chain.

According to Chick-fil-A's Rodney Bullard, vice president of Community Affairs, Kyle McBride, from Chick-fil-A Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, is a three-time award winner with scholarships totaling $6,000. McBride is enrolled in the Nursing Program at Atlantic Cape Community College, and has been employed at Chick-Fil-A since 2012.

According to Bullard, "We want to provide team members with not only essential job skills and leadership development opportunities while working in Chick-fil-A restaurants, but also help them receive the best education to support their career aspirations – whatever they may be."

Nationwide, 5,700 team members are receiving $14.65 million in scholarships. Chick-fil-A restaurants in New Jersey and New York are awarding $235,000 in scholarships to 76 restaurant team members.
