
Cops: Atlantic City Man Arrested After Assaulting and Threatening Girlfriend
A man from Atlantic City is facing a list of charges after cops say he assaulted and threatened his girlfriend with a handgun.
Officers say the scene unfolded Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of Atlantic Avenue. Officials say the victim’s boyfriend, 38-year-old Kareem Blocker of Atlantic City, had assaulted and threatened his girlfriend and then fled before cops arrived. Several officers located Blocker in a hotel room at Bally's where he was arrested without incident.
Blocker has been charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain person not to possess a weapon, and contempt of court. Blocker was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.
