Crews Working on a Gas Leak in Egg Harbor Township

Update from the Egg Harbor Township Police Department: The gas leak has been shut off and the area is returning to normal. Old Egg Harbor Road between the Black Horse Pike and Fire Road will be shut down.

Police and fire crews are on the scene of an apparent natural gas leak in Egg Harbor Township.

The leak is reported to be in the area of Old Egg Harbor Road and the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, in the area of the new Super Wawa and the nearby mobile home park. The smell of gas is reported to be in the air and police and fire crews have responded.
