The body of an unidentified man was found Monday morning in the ventilation system of a Galloway pizza shop. Police say that the man may have gotten stuck in the vent while trying to rob the store three weeks before.

A release from Galloway Township Police says that Two Brothers From Italy Restaurant, in the Pomona Shopping Center, was broken into about three weeks ago and that the thieves had gotten in through the roof.

Galloway Police Chief Donna Higbee said it was immediately unclear if the ventilation system was used in that break-in.

Police were called to the scene at 269 W. White Horse Pike about 10 AM Monday. Their investigation found the dead man had attempted to gain entry into the restaurant by way of a rooftop exhaust fan and became trapped.
