To start off the week of practice, the Philadelphia Eagles had a peculiar addition to the injury report. Fletcher Cox was listed, but Eagles head coach Chip Kelly sounded like there is nothing to worry about.

Cox was designated as a ‘limited participant’ due to a back injury, after missing practice on Tuesday.

“Yeah, Fletch should go today,” the coach said.

Cox was back at practice Thursday as a full participant.

While the Eagles most likely will be without linebacker Mychal Kendricks, wide receiver Josh Huff was back at practice for the second straight day and the head coach declared that the special teams ace should be available against the San Francisco 49ers.  He missed about a month because of a shoulder injury.

In place of Kendricks was mainly Casey Matthews and Emmanuel Acho who each provide a different look on the Eagles defense.  Kelly says they benefit differently from having them rotate.

“Just think both of those guys bring a little bit of a different skill set, but I think we just felt that sharing time with those guys, you're keeping them fresh, so the other guy in there with [LB] DeMeco Ryans, you're keeping him fresh.”

Also out this week and for the foreseeable future is center Jason Kelce, in his place will be David Molk, a seventh-round pick in 2012, Molk appeared in 12 games for the Chargers' injury-ravaged line last year.

One question is how will he effect the Eagles play-calling?

"No, because we've had him in the games," Kelly explained.  "We've had a chance to play with him in the preseason.  He's got a pretty good feel for it.  David's really smart.  He picks things up really quickly.  He picked our offense up really quickly.  He actually did some in college because when he was at Michigan, Rich Rodriguez was there, so he's got some experience in a tempo type system."

The Eagles will resume practice on Friday afternoon at the Nova Care Center.
