Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop

Murphy Writing of Stockton University presents a 5-week online poetry workshop designed to help writers generate new work and develop their craft through ekphrastic poetry - writing inspired by visual art, music, film, and other creative mediums.

The workshop will be held on Zoom every Wednesday at 6:00 PM, from September 10th through October 8th, 2025. Each week will include guided generative exercises, the study of published examples, and the opportunity to share drafts with a supportive community of fellow writers. Writers of all experience levels are welcome.

Participants may come ready to start something new or bring works-in-progress to revise during the sessions.
