This Thursday, October 13th, residents are encouraged to attend two different free presentations -- one aimed at seniors and the other for parents and adults.

The first meeting, being held at 2PM, is called, "What Grandparents Need to Know," and will highlight the importance of securing medications at home. The meeting will also discuss the risks unsuspecting seniors face when relatives and other guests raid their medicine cabinets for prescription drugs.

The next meeting at 5PM is, "What Kids Know and You Don’t," aimed at parents and adults. In this session, parents will learn the most current information on high-risk behaviors and how they are drastically changing the risk potential for every family.

Both meetings are free and will be held at Sea Isle City’s former public school building at 4501 Park Road. These events are presented by Sea Isle City’s Municipal Alliance Committee, the Sea Isle City Board of Education, the Sea Isle City Police Department, and other partners in the community. For more information, call (609) 827-2994.
