Funny Farm Animal Rescue says a man gave up  a dog he could not care for - and accepted a $1,000 donation to give up the ownership of the dog. Now, they say, he has returned and stolen the dog.

NOTE: As of this writing we are unaware of any actual police charges being processed in regards to this incident. This story is being relayed from the Facebook page of Funny Farm Animal Rescue, and we have no way of verifying whether or not the information is true.

If you didn't know, South Jersey's biggest animal rescue is located in Mays Landing. Funny Farm Rescue, on their website, lists the following as their mission:

The Funny Farm Rescue is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charity. We are personally and professionally committed to the well being of abused and abandoned animals. We provide food, shelter, medical care, compassion and love for the rest of their natural lives in a permanent, safe and healthy environment.
Funny Farm, on their Facebook page, reported on a particular incident, where they accuse a young man of essentially donating his dog, then stealing it back. Again, these accusations are made on their Facebook page.
