UPDATE: State Police said a detective spotted Nia Gronau at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near Cranberry Bogs, which is the area where she was last seen. She was taken to a medical facility for evaluation.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 17-year-old Burlington County girl who has been missing since Wednesday morning.

The New Jersey State Police said Nia Gronau, 17, of Willingboro was last seen Wednesday morning around 8 a.m. in Pemberton Township in the Cranberry Bogs area.

Anyone who may have information about the teen's whereabouts is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit at 609-882-2000, ext. 2895.
