Absecon Family Will Try to Rebuild After Tragic Fire

An Absecon family well-known in the community had a devastating fire in their home last weekend and lost the home and everything in it.

Now, a GoFundMe is asking for help to get the Egizi family back on their feet.

We have noticed that this fire and the effort to help the family have received only limited attention, and we are lending our support by giving this good cause our attention.

Absecon Family Loses Their Home in a Fire

A GoFundMe set up by Nicole Cartwright has raised almost $29,000 to help the Egizi family, after a Saturday house fire left them in dire straits.

Luckity, the family was not injured, but they did lose their dog, Sven.

Tragedy struck last night when our dear friends—the Egizi family, Tom, Christine, Quinn, Ava, and Tommy—lost their home and everything in it to a devastating fire. Most heartbreaking of all, they also lost their beloved dog, Sven.

The Egizis are a pillar of the Absecon community. Whether it’s coaching for the Absecon Blue Devils, volunteering at school functions, or supporting local events, this family is always the first to step up and help others.

Popular Absecon Family Gets Community Support

The GoFundme is collecting donations to help the family with the difficult task of rebuilding their lives.

The money will be used to secure temporary housing, buy necessities like food and clothes, and help the Egizi family on the road to recovery.
