Landmark Cafe Opens on Asbury Avenue in Ocean City

The brand new Landmark Cafe opened on May 29, operated by the Landmark Church. This new breakfast spot had a big grand opening ceremony at 710 Asbury Ave in the spot that used to be Sea Oats.

After all the waiting, we finally get to share this place with you. We built Landmark Cafe because this town deserves a real third place. Somewhere between home and wherever you’re headed next. No pressure, no agenda, just good food, great coffee, and people worth knowing.

Good Food for a Good Cause

All proceeds from the cafe, which will be open daily from  7 a.m. to 3 p.m., will go toward missions and outreach efforts.

It will be operated by Cody Pennta, who has plenty of hands-on experience running restaurants.

What to Expect Inside the Landmark Cafe

This new spot serves breakfast, where you can sit in and eat, grab and go, sit inside and open the laptop, and enjoy their free WiFi.  There is a kids' corner where you can bring the young ones in and read books or play with toys.

According to the website, the new spot will feature cozy booths, a full lounge, chess tables by the window, a barista counter, and outdoor seats when the weather's right. Vintage seaside character with a warmth that makes you stay longer than you planned.

It is another new business on Asbury Avenue, with many new spots opening as old favorites close.
