
New Jersey One of Top Ten States Where Tech Skills Are Most In-demand
According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, five of the top ten Fastest Growing Occupations in America are Tech Jobs. From Data Scientists to Information security analysts, the advancements in modern technology have created a new demand for workers with tech-related skills.
But over 70 percent of employers are struggling to find the skilled talent they need for their businesses. There is estimated to be a 76 percent Global Talent Shortage in the Information Technology Industry.
The latest research from the online job search platform JobLeads has revealed what are the best states for job seekers in the Tech Industry and the top Tech Skills desired by employers in the United States.
Where Does New Jersey Rank Among Best States For Tech Employment
In a press release from JobLeads, their experts have found that the most in-demand tech skills in the United States are Ansible, Excel, SQL, and Java.
New Jersey ranks as the state with the second-highest number of jobs in demand that require Tech Skills. Almost two-thirds of all NJ Job Vacancies require specialized skills and 29.5 percent of job vacancies in New Jersey require specific Tech Skills.
On the list of Top Ten States Where Tech Skills Are Most In-demand, New Jersey is one of five states located in the Northeast. The other four states are Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, and Delaware.
The Technology Industry is the second biggest of New Jersey's Major Industries. The major tech companies located in New Jersey include Cognizant Technology Solutions, ADP, Verisk Analytics, and Vonage Communications.
