Pleasantville High School Principal Charged with Child Porn

An Atlantic County High School Principal is in trouble with the law after being charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says Edward Bonek, 48, is being held in the Atlantic County Jail after being arrested and charged with the following:

1) Endangering Welfare of Children – Possession of Child Pornography (3rd)
2) Endangering Welfare of Children – Distribution of Child Pornography (2nd)
3) Endangering Welfare of Children – Poss w/ intent Distribute Child Pornography (2nd)
4) Endangering Welfare of Children – Maintaining a file sharing program making Child Pornography available for distribution (2nd)
5) Official Misconduct (2nd)

A search warrant was executed at Bonek's home early Wednesday.

As of Thursday morning, Bonek's name is still listed as principal of Pleasantville High School on the district's website.
