Mercer County College, Stockton Announce Dual Admission Transfer Agreement
Mercer County Community College and Stockton University presidents signed a dual admission and transfer agreement which allows for a smooth transition from the 2-year school to the university in Atlantic County, NJ.
This agreement allows Mercer graduates to transition smoothly to Stockton, where they can complete their Associate or Bachelor's degree.
“This is indeed an exciting option for students seeking a quality college education,” said Dr. Jianping Wang, president of Mercer County Community College via trentonian.com.“We are honored to partner with Stockton in our common goal of making a college education affordable and accessible.”
The agreement also grants students access to Stockton University's services while still attending MCCC.
If a student is denied admission to Stockton as an incoming freshman, they can be granted dual admission in partnership with Mercer, which will allow them to have access to campus activities, events, and clubs.
Students who are already enrolled at Mercer County CC can apply for dual admission at Stockton as well.
Graduates of MCCC can transfer to Stockton to continue their college career to receive their bachelor's degree.
Application fees will also be waived for those who are applying to Stockton University for this program.
