New Jersey Store Owners Officially Barred from Going Cashless
A new law signed this week would punish businesses that choose to not accept cash for goods and services.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed legislation that could fine cashless businesses up to $2,500 for breaking the new law, according to The Press of Atlantic City.
However, there will be a few exceptions, including parking facilities, car rentals, and airport vendors.
