A Pennsylvania resident is in a heap of trouble after being arrested on two counts of burglary and two counts of theft in Sea Isle City.

Sea Isle City Police say John George, 23, of Wallingford, PA, was charged following several car burglaries and attempted burglaries last weekend in the area of 47th-51st street in Sea Isle City.

According to police, a "thorough investigation by Patrol with support from the Detective Bureau led to identifying John George as the burglary suspect. On Wednesday March 25th, John George turned himself into police to face charges."

Sea Isle Police also released this statement:

We want to thank the public for their assistance in this case. Further we want to reassure the public that even though there is a statewide quarantine in effect, the Officers of the Sea Isle City Police Department are working hard to keep Sea Isle City safe. Anyone caught attempting to take advantage of our residents during the statewide quarantine will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
