Somers Point Man Hits Person In Face With Gun and is Arrested

Police in Somers Point have arrested a local man after he reportedly struck another person in the face with a loaded handgun after being confronted while breaking into a car.

Police say they responded just after 2AM Tuesday a call in the parking lot of the Somers Point Apartments on Mays Landing Road.

They determined that Anthony Falciani had struck the victim in the face, before fleeing the scene.

Later in the day, Falciani was arrested by Police and charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Poss. of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. Bail was set at $150,000. cash and he was transported to the Atlantic County Jail.
