Super Bowl LII: Final Prep Day Features Favre, Class Pictures
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Eagles final day before Super Bowl LII featured a light walk-through at U.S. Bank Stadium and some class pictures.
After posing for the team picture, the players went to work on fine-tuning the game plan for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Coach Doug Pederson told pool reporter Kimberley Martin it was important to get the “lay of the land,” and “take it all in. Soak it in.”
“It puts it into perspective now,” Pederson said of being inside U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time this week. “I think they can see it, when you’re on this field and you see everything around the stadium, you can feel it. It puts it all right there for us.
Pederson also admitted that “probably three” players dealt with flu-like symptoms this week: defensive tackle Tim Jernigan (who missed the first two practices of the week), cornerback Ronald Darby, and wide receiver Nelson Agholor, who received IV fluids earlier Saturday.
The coach claimed all the players are doing fine and it's not rare to give players fluids.
Also, Pederson's friend and former Green Bay teammate, Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre, addressed the Eagles at their team hotel at the Mall of America before the walkthrough.
