It was a year ago this weekend that the disappearance of Autumn Paquale sent police, friends and neighbors in Gloucester County on a massive search for the teen.
The South Jersey teenager who pleaded guilty to killing 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale has been sentenced to 17 years in prison, after pleading guilty to a charge of aggravated manslaughter.
A teenager admitted Wednesday that he strangled a 12-year-old girl who disappeared last fall while out riding her bike, touching off a massive search that ended when her body was found in a recycling bin just blocks from her home.
It may seem like it's taking a long time for any movement in the case against the two teens accused of killing 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale, whose body was found in a recycling bin in October 2012 days after she went missing from her father's Clayton home.
A criminal investigation is now underway to find the person or people responsible for the death of Autumn Pasquale. Today police confirm both the 12-year old and her bike were found on the same property, and are questioning two neighborhood residents.
