In a post late Friday afternoon to the Clark Neighbors Facebook group Sal Bonaccorso said he was diagnosed "late in the campaign" with an aoritc aneurism which would lead to "major heart surgery" in the future.

Sal Bonaccorso , who was sworn into office for a seventh term on New Year's Day after winning won re-election in November, entered the plea in Union County Superior Court on Friday morning.

Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso made the comment after a council candidate addressed the township council but said it's being blown out of proportion.
