After a bunch of good games and upsets last week, this week looks more like a traditional September weekend with the top teams playing a laundry list of weak competition.
Alabama will begin the season as the nation’s top-ranked team, coming in at No. 1 in the AP preseason Top 25. The Crimson Tide is followed by Clemson, Oklahoma, Florida State and LSU, rounding out the Top 5.
It’s a fairly quiet week as we enter the stretch run, with just one game between ranked teams. But there are still plenty of interesting questions to be answered this Saturday.
