Responders were on location for several hours, but a decision was made to allow the electric vehicle to burn itself out, rather than to extinguish the blaze with water.
Robert O'Keefe, 41, was struck by a vehicle driven by his wife Amanda O'Keefe, 37, at their Clark Lane home around 2:30 AM on Feb. 25, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said.
