A woman who went to a cemetery in North Jersey on Sunday to check on her grandmother's grave said she was shocked to find stacked caskets, including an open one infested with rats.

More than two years after a fiery crash on Route 22, Joe DiMeo underwent an extremely rare operation and now has revealed his ongoing recovery, six months later.

"Bottom line, there is either a public health emergency or there is not. It cannot be both," attorney Jim Mermigis said in an email.

Tyson S. Stamper, 22, of Elizabeth and 22-year-old Alecia S. Jones of Hillside, both remained in Bergen County Jail Sunday.

Police were pursuing a stolen vehicle that crashed into a sedan that that trapped one person and sent four to the hospital.
