New Jersey has used millions in federal funding to overhaul its Unemployment Insurance application — cutting down on wait times and frustrations for users.

The cancellation will affect as many as 20,000 long-term unemployed. Even if you have qualified for the EB program, and a balance remains on that claim, no more payments will be sent out after April 9.

If you are not truthful in daily workplace screenings, it could cost you your job and get you arrested.

The NJ Department of Labor has a special complaint form you can fill out and they’ll send investigators to follow up if necessary.

It’s not a lot, not everyone will qualify, the process is complicated and the funds won’t be available until October, but NJ leaders say every little bit helps
