If passed and signed into law, the ban would apply to take-out orders, restaurants, and food trucks. It would also apply to sports and entertainment venues and NJ schools.
Restaurants, fast food spots and convenience stores will only be able to give plastic, single-use straws upon request, under a move to cut consumption.
