More than $3.5 billion in toll money will be redirected to NJ Transit over the next seven years, under an agreement approved by New Jersey Turnpike Authority commissioners Tuesday.
The action comes as agency locations continue to work through heavy demand built up during state-mandated closures, and are forced to close themselves on a case-by-case basis due to coronavirus cases among workers.
