There is a lot to like about New Jersey's weather forecast as winter turns to spring, with temperatures climbing from the 40s to the 50s to the 60s.

New Jersey has to bundle up for one more mid-winter-ish day, but at least winds are considerably lighter and there is no significant snow in the forecast.

There is nothing overly dramatic or crazy in New Jersey's weather forecast, just a bitter breeze, some cold air, and a few raindrops and snowflakes.

Welcome back to winter, New Jersey. Thursday afternoon will be upwards of 50 degrees colder than Wednesday afternoon, with a brisk wind and possible snow.

The lion of March will be roaring loudly over the next 48 hours with volatile weather on the way as warm turns to cold, and calm turns to stormy.

Tuesday will be great, but Thursday's cold front is going to hurt.

Temperatures are running 20 degrees above seasonal normals, and more than 50 degrees warmer than they were about a month ago here in New Jersey.

Total rainfall from Thursday to Thursday night will range from a quarter-inch in South Jersey to over an inch in North Jersey.

New Jersey's payoff for this week of unsettled, cloudy, occasionally wet weather will be a welcome warmup into the 50s and 60s this weekend.
