Head to Cape May Point tonight for the 12th Annual Cape May Point Women's Lifeguard Challenge at St. Pete's Beach.

The fun kicks off at 6:30 PM and will feature a record 50 top female lifeguards who will compete in a sprint triathlon, which includes a 1.3-mile run on the beach, a 1-mile ocean paddle, and a half-mile ocean swim.

"We have a lot of returnees," said race director, Kristen Moorby to The Press of Atlantic City. "Once they've done it once, they learn to capitalize on their strengths and learn what to train harder for."

Plus, there are quite a few returning champions that will be racing later on today: the 2018 champion, Adrienne Bilello of Wildwood Crest, is back to defend her title along with the only three-time winner, Jenna Parker of Harvey Cedars.
