Two people were injured in a head-on crash on the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township Monday evening.

Around 5:30 Monday evening, Hamilton Township police responded to a head-on crash on the Black Horse Pike at Malaga Road. Their investigation determined a car driven by 20-year-old Tyler Barchuck of Eatontown was traveling westbound on the Black Horse Pike and crossed the center line of the roadway. Barchuck’s vehicle crashed head-on into a car being driven by 51-year-old Kurt Fegley Sicklerville.

The impact caused Barchuk to be trapped in his vehicle and he was extricated by paramedics. Both Fegley and Barchuk were transported to ARMC-City for evaluation. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and airbags deployed in both vehicles.

Traffic in the area was delayed or diverted for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared.  Summonses are pending further investigation by police.
