Ventnor Police Make Arrest in New Year’s Eve Shooting

Following a three week investigation into a New Year's Eve Shooting in Ventnor, an arrest has been made.

A 26-year-old Hillside, New Jersey man was shot at a New Year's Eve Party  at a home on the beach block Vassar Square Avenue. The man remains hospitalizes in stable condition.

Police have arrested Tamon R. Sykes, 23, of Willingboro, New Jersey, charging him with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He's being held in the Atlantic County Jail.
