When you live near the ocean, you know that sea animals occasionally need human help. Believe it or not, that help could soon come from you.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, located in Brigantine, helps with marine stranding all up and down the New Jersey Coast. Now, they are making their annual pitch for stranding volunteers - people who can help when a marine mammal is in need.

According the Marine Mammal Stranding Center's Facebook page, a Stranding Volunteer Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Only those 18 years of age or older can be accepted as volunteers. Space is limited and you must call (609) 266-0538) or email mmsc@verizon.net to reserve your spot.
