A 70-year-old woman was critically injured Thursday night when she was struck by a car while crossing a road in Cape May Court House.

Middle Township Police say 47-year-old Leonard Panzini of Court House was driving eastbound on County Route 657 (Court House South Dennis Road) near Route 9 around 8:30 Thursday evening when he struck 70-year-old Elizabeth Rourke of Goshen who was crossing the road in the crosswalk. Rourke had multiple injuries and was transported via helicopter to ARMC-City for treatment where she was last reported to be in critical condition. No charges have been filed.
