Atlantic City To Issue Courtesy Tickets

Shoppers in Atlantic City who forget to feed the meter will get a break starting Sunday.The Atlantic City Police parking enforcement unit will continue their tradition of issuing courtesy cards instead of parking tickets through Tuesday, January 1, for expired parking meters.

Shoppers are being encouraged to park in well lit areas, lock their purchases in the trunk, shop in groups and carry a minimal amount of cash.
